Norton Gold Fields is a gold producer with integrated mining, processing, and smelting operations. The company operates through two main centers, Paddington and Binduli, and ranks among the largest gold producers in Australia. It is one of Australia's largest heap leaching projects, with an annual leaching capacity of 5 million tonnes. All of Norton’s tenements are situated within Western Australia’s world-renowned Norseman-Wiluna Greenstone Belt in Kalgoorlie, covering nearly 1,000 square kilometres, with significant exploration potential. Current operations include open-pit mining at a rate of 14 million cubic metres per annum, underground mining at 1.4 million tonnes per annum, and processing at two plants: the Paddington plant at approximately 4 million tonnes per annum and the Binduli North plant at 6 million tonnes per annum. With ongoing debottlenecking and expansion, total ore throughput exceeded 10 million tonnes in 2025.

In 2025, Norton produced approximately 7.9 tonnes of mined gold, representing a slight decrease from the previous year, mainly due to a relatively lower ore feed grade. AISC for the year was approximately US$2,092/oz. Despite fluctuations in output, technical upgrades and resource utilisation initiatives continued to advance. Completion of the Binduli transfer stockpile and fine-product screening upgrade improved equipment utilisation. The low-grade resource utilisation project, with an annual processing capacity of 2 million tonnes, also supported improved plant throughput and future production release.
Two key mining tenements around Racetrack were acquired, and applications were lodged for 30 additional tenements (90.6km2), significantly expanding the area available for exploration.
The 2Mtpa low-grade resources comprehensive utilisation project will increase the processing capacity, providing support to production growth. The photoelectric sorting project completed semi-industrial trials, achieving a gold enrichment factor of 2 to 4 times, and is expected to enter large-scale application in 2026.

Norton Gold Fields follows a local and inclusive employment strategy, with employees from 33 countries. The company strictly adheres to Australian safety and environmental protection laws and regulations, implementing stringent riskcontrol and preventive measures.
Norton Gold Fields’ emergency rescue team has won multiple awards in international rescue competitions. The company supports community development by offering Chinese language courses at Kalgoorlie Primary School, donating to Western Australia’s first children’s hospice care project, and organizing fundraising activities to support community members and charitable organizations.
